Tory Burch Celebrates Her Spring 2025 Collection in Dubai with a Splash


Every great woman deserves a second act, or better yet, takes it. For some, it’s a quiet reinvention. For Tory Burch, it’s a full-blown creative resurgence–a rebirth that feels less like a corporate pivot and more like a personal revolution. It’s being dubbed the “Torynaissance,” and no, that’s not just clever wordplay. This isn’t the Tory Burch of preppy ballet flats and symmetrical monograms. This is Tory Burch, unbound, re-inspired, and madly in love with her own brand again. “I just rediscovered my passion for the creative process, because for so long, I was running the business.”

After fourteen years steering the ship, Burch did what most wouldn’t dare–she stepped back as CEO and fully immersed herself in the design studio. Handing the reins to her husband, Pierre-Yves Roussel, former chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group, Burch grabbed creative control with both hands. “I used to spend 20% of my time designing,” she says. “Now it’s 100%, and it’s changed everything.”

The result? A brand that doesn’t just look refreshed; it feels like it’s vibrating on a new frequency. A frisson that was palpable in Dubai, where Burch celebrated her Spring 2025 collection with a party at Skooni–the minimalist event space transformed into a massive turquoise pool, inspired by the NYC-staged runway show, packed with the city’s most stylish guests. On deck: Maguy Bou Ghosn, Karen Wazen, Dima Sheikhly, Dana Hourani, and Rym Saidi, to name just a few.

The It Girls came dressed to impress in the brand’s latest looks: a sporty hi-lo mix of embellished swimsuit tanks, luxe crinkled drawstring karate pants, printed trousers with cropped tops, boxy jackets, and a standout beige jersey dress worn by actress Stephanie Atala that looked like it had been dipped in latex, spun mid-air, and slapped on with panache.
