Altuzarra sent more than a dozen models down the runway carrying a classic clutch in the form of an envelope. And the silhouette is taking shape in more unique ways for the spring 2024, from Chloé and The Attico’s trapezoidal take to Alaïa and Saint Laurent’s oblong silhouettes.

Never one to sleep on a trend, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber showed us how to bring the clutch into the sunlight by styling two different outfits around Bottega Veneta’s Falcon clutch. Jenner went with a ladylike cutout dress and loafers, while Bieber finished her look off with a short Balenciaga trench coat and chunky MM6 Maison Margiela boots. On the sleeker side of the clutch spectrum, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley aced the handbag trend with The Row’s multi Gusset pouch, which she held close to her body while wearing black slacks and an oversize leather bomber. The best part about the day clutch is that the handbag trend can make even the plainest pair of jeans and a simple white T-shirt look sophisticated.
