Last night, RiRi proved that if you’re going to arrive extremely late to the Met Gala, you better have a damn good makeup look and a few wedding rumors to show for it. All Chanel brides aside, Rihanna’s Met Gala makeup was everything fans asked for and more. From the fake lashes on her sunglasses to her signature red lip paint, Rihanna’s campy beauty choices felt true to both her personal style and Karl’s.

Despite new product launches and shade releases, the superstar has remained loyal to the universally-flattering red for years.
“Whenever we have a big lip moment, like tonight, I lather Fenty Skin Plush Puddin’ Lip Mask on her lips the second we start glam, even though the lip color application is the last thing we do,” shared Ono. “I love for her lips to really soak up all that hydration, so her lips are full and smooth so that color just glides on.”
