Proving herself, once again, the Queen of the New York fashion scene, Chloë Sevigny walked Proenzer Schouler’s Autumn Winter 2023 runway yesterday (February 11).
Dressed in a black, cinched blazer, white shirt, leather skirt and boots, the 48 year-old gave the seasoned models a run for their money while striding down the catwalk.
No-doubt cheering her on in the front row was her close friend Natasha Lyonne, as well as fellow blonde style icon Sienna Miller (and her daughter Marlowe Sturridge).
They weren’t the only stars in the FROW, with Marc Jacobs, Alexa Chung and Jemima Kirk joining them.
Far from being the Bones And All actor’s first runway rodeo, Sevigny has previously walked for the likes of Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana and Simone Rocha.
This was a monumental show for the brand, since yesterday marked 20 years to the day Proenza Schouler first showed on the NYFW schedule.
Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez were presenting their concept of the ‘complete wardrobe’ for the AW23 season. The pair created a spoken word track to be played over the fashion show: My Year Of Rest And Relaxation author Ottessa Moshfegh penned fictional diary entries, which were read out by Chloé Sevigny and composed by Venezuelan musician Arca for the event.
‘Chloë has always been one of those women who we look up to and respect deeply,’ McCollough and Hernandez wrote in their show notes.
