One of our favorite brands Sézane is back in Boston with a new pop-up store in Seaport! I stopped by earlier this week and there was no shortage of eye candy. The weather has been dismally cold, so I was also happy to see Yume Ga Arukara around the corner for a hot bowl of udon afterwards!
Like with most other retailers, Sézane’s smallest sizes (ie xxs or 0, size 4/5 shoes) are unfortunately online-only and not carried in brick & mortar stores, so I mostly just looked at pieces for the overall fit and fabrics. If you’re ordering online, they offer free shipping to the US on orders over $200 and free returns on everything (very easy process, in my experience).
Noelie Cardigan

I wore this cardigan to the store and it’s one of the most petite-friendly pieces from Sézane I’ve ever found! As someone who almost always has to fold or cuff up my sleeves, I was thrilled that even the sleeve length worked well on me. The overall top is a more slim and shrunken fit cropped style, and is a 100% organic cotton lace crochet-like knit. I love how well it pairs with my high waisted jeans and pants. You can wear a skin toned bra or tank top like this under for more coverage.

This cardigan has been on my wishlist but I didn’t know how itchy the knit would be. In person it’s a slightly fluffy knit, without too much of an itch factor like some of their Gaspard cardigans. I was also trying it on over a nude cami I happened to be wearing. The lace trim detail is gorgeous – this is one of those pieces that are “outfit makers” whenever you want to be comfy in a sweater and jeans, but still have a unique and interesting hero piece.
