In just a matter of months, Riyadh Air will embark upon its maiden flight. The upcoming airline, which is all set to revolutionize the future of air travel, will also take over the skies in style thanks to its newly announced line of crew wear, which was designed by none other than Saudi couturier Ashi, and revealed for the very first time yesterday at Haute Couture Week in Paris.

The partnership between Riyadh Air and Ashi is an especially noteworthy one, as it sets the style bar a notch higher for the Kingdom’s new start-up airline. Already, the buzz around Riyadh Air is picking up, with both, travel and fashion enthusiasts now eagerly awaiting its arrival. As for the first look of the crew collection, there was no denying the excitement around the big moment, which revealed a series of sharp, functional and fashion-forward ensembles in the airline’s signature hue: a deep, royal purple. Sculpted skirt suits glided down the runway alongside blouse and pant sets, with some models sporting sleek hats, and others opting for artfully draped headscarves. For the men, impeccably tailored suits reigned supreme.
