This week, the superstar put her stamp on monochromatic style. (You know the vibe, when you commit to wearing one color from head to toe.) And even though countless stars have embraced the clean look, from Victoria Beckham to Ariana Grande, last night, Rihanna’s approach felt entirely fresh.

While attending the launch party for Fenty Hair in Los Angeles, Rihanna delivered a tonal red ensemble that stole the show. The custom Khaite design included a slouchy leather bomber jacket, leather red slip dress, and pointed pumps in the exact same hue. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Rihanna look without some diamonds—and naturally, the star matched those too, layering on two ruby and diamond necklaces. The choker, featuring 18k gold and custom-cut rubies set in diamonds was crafted by Indian designer Manish Malhotra, while the three-drop necklace with rubellite, tourmaline, and brilliant cut diamond was made by Sabyasachi.
All together, the whole fit was the perfect mixture of dressy and casual; It’s her signature styling approach, after all, proving she has the ability to make any look feel effortless and just downright cool. It’s the Riri effect!
