I was writing a post on this very affordable cardigan jacket (comes in 15+ colors), and noticed that it’s part of Amazon’s Prime Day deals ending tonight! I found the overall piece to be a great value for the price, even when not on sale – I bought two at regular price and have worn them many times already for school drop offs, weekends & WFH.
Check my Prime Day picks for other items I own that are on sale today including a good pair of stretch shaft booties I wore quite a bit last Fall (see on me), and my kids Prime deals for some favorites for little ones.
Sizing: This cardigan was an unexpected success for me since they only offer size Small – XL. I usually take xxs and assumed the S would be much too big, but it actually fits a nice amount of oversized on me after I cuffed the sleeves. A friend who is 5’4” and usually size XS tried on my size S cardigan, and the sleeves hit bracelet length on her and it didn’t have the slouchy oversized look. So for a similar look to how it fits on me here, you may need to size up.
Material: The material is weighty, a smooth flat weave and warm. It has a lot of structure so this isn’t a flowy, drapey style cardigan. When it arrives it looks boxy out of the package, and I found that giving it a good steaming, especially along both sides and the sleeve sdies, makes a big difference in how it falls on the body.
Colors: In the photo above I’m wearing the Amazon cardigan in Grey, but want to note that in-person it’s actually taupe, which was a nice surprise for me since taupe is a core color in my wardrobe! I also bought the Khaki pictured below, which is a camel color.
