It’s been a year since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took Netflix by storm with their docuseries, Harry & Meghan, but the couple are still working with the streamer through their production company, Archewell. Recently, Meghan also made some time to moonlight in a smaller gig for Netflix. On Wednesday, their friend Misan Harriman shared photos of Meghan, wearing a chocolate-colored suit by Valentino and a Reiss turtleneck, moderating a conversation about his directorial debut, The After, with actor David Oyelowo.
Harriman, a photographer who has taken some of the most notable photos of the duchess and her husband, thanked Meghan for her participation in an image caption. “Here are some images from a very special screening of The After moderated by the Duchess of Sussex,” he said. “It was extra special to have her and so many of my film idols watch this film.”
Oyelowo stars in Harriman’s short film, which tells the story of a horrific London attack and its aftermath. According to People, the screening took place on November 15 at a private residence in Montecito, the Santa Barbara town where Meghan and Harry have lived for more than three years. Oyelowo has also partnered with the couple’s Archewell Foundation earlier this year to help provide school supplies and menstruation products for girls in Nigeria.
Harriman was a guest at Meghan and Harry’s 2018 wedding, and later took engagement photos for Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. In the years since, he shot photographs for the couple’s second pregnancy announcement, and took a portrait of their daughter, Lilibet, for her first birthday.
