This look is a variation of one of last year’s most loved outfits, with some in-stock options for both the shirt jacket and jeans since those have since sold out. You can see this look in motion in my latest video reel, and I wanted to share some fit reviews here as well!
Since petite sizes tend to go first, I wanted to highlight a few new arrivals that dropped this week:
- Petite Perfect Vintage jeans in Earlside, a mid-blue wash with fray hems
- Petite Stovepipe jeans in Calliston wash. Compared to the Perfect Vintage jeans’ tapered leg and more rigid denim, Stovepipes have a slightly straighter leg and a touch stretchier fabric.
- Wide leg ankle pant starting in 00 petite
Lounge: Cozybrushed Henley + Straight Sweatpants
This lounge set is insanely soft and comfortable, I never want to take it off! I wish I had discovered it sooner when more sizes and colors were stocked. The pants are TTS with a wide leg fit and the top runs oversized. The pants have an intended cropped length, which ends up working well for petites as a full length pant.
Here’s a few other retailers where I found these separates at: Zappos, Shopbop
Perfect Vintage Jeans
Since the grey jeans I last featured sold out in petites, Madewell sent me this pair to try. In comparison to the older style, the Perfect Vintage jeans I have on in this post are a little more tapered at the leg, and in a slightly thicker denim with a 1″ longer length. The color is very similar, so you can see grey jean outfit ideas like here with a taupe sweater + chocolate boots.
True to almost all of their Perfect Vintage style jeans, I believe these run big at the waist and sized down to a 23 Petite. These 23s fit like most of my size 24 jeans in other brands.
