It’s been a very long time since my last lululemon review, as I’ve kept mostly the same pieces on rotation over the past few years. When Nick was restocking on his holy grail everyday pants and golf shirts, I also tried on a bunch of styles and wanted to share the more petite-friendly finds. For reference, I’m usually a 00 / xxs / 25 waist in regular women’s fashion brands, and I wear a size 2 in lululemon for everything listed below.
1. Brushed Softstreme Ribbed Half Zip (5 colors)
Their Scuba half zip is a cult fave, and personally I do like the oversized fit of the size XS/S (smallest size available) and the weightier scuba fabric.
As an alternative, if you’re looking for a half-zip pullover that’s a little less oversized and lighter in weight, check out their Softstreme Ribbed Half Zip. The broader range of sizes allows for a better fit, and the soft fabric is medium weight with panels of ribbed texture. The shorter length is petite-friendly, and there’s a drawstring at the waist if you want to cinch it in. Personally I also find the roomy kangaroo pocket with a little hidden sleeve for my credit card or keys quite useful.
2. Adapted State High-Rise Cropped Jogger (6 colors; 2 inseams)
Available in 23″ and 28″ inseams. The shorter inseam is very petite friendly, and these would work well from going from gym to errands to travel. Size-wise, I could potentially size down to a 0. The 2 is comfortable on me, but a little roomy in the thighs so I do wonder how the 0 would fit.
The dark navy makes details hard to see, but there’s a high rise and wide waistband which I’m a fan of. They have zippered pockets for keeping things secure while you’re working out, and also zippers at the pant cuffs.The material has an…
