Katie Holmes brought her quietly sophisticated style out for a star-studded fashion dinner in New York City yesterday.
The actor joined Elle Fanning, Camila Morrone, Dianna Agron, and other stars at Chanel and W magazine’s intimate bash to wrap up New York Fashion Week. The Dawson’s Creek alum looked lovely in a frilly sheer white sweater with a knit diamond pattern, from Chanel’s Fall-Winter 2023/24 Ready-to-Wear collection; she wore it over a white top. She paired it with black wide-leg pants, glossy pointy flats, and a black quilted-leather Chanel pouch bag with a leather-and-chain strap. For accessories, she chose gold drop earrings and a gold nose ring.
Holmes went ultra-sleek with her glam, opting for straight hair and straight, blown-out bangs. She wore a subtle smoky eye and a pink lip.
The event took place at Indochine restaurant in NoHo and celebrated Sofia Coppola’s forthcoming book Archive 1999–2023.
Holmes has been a Chanel darling for some time. In June, she attended another event hosted by the house: the Chanel Tribeca Festival Women’s Lunch. There, she wore a casual spin on the head-to-toe Chanel look, pairing a plain white T-shirt with a pair of loose-fitting light-wash jeans, which were printed with faint white polka dots and the fashion house’s double CC logo.
She topped off the look with a black knit jacket with round silver buttons, adding quilted black ballet flats adorned with the logo, a black quilted crossbody bag, layered gold necklaces, and a single dangling statement earring. Her hair was styled in soft waves, and she wore a glossy, berry-toned lip.
