On the evening of June 11, Cartier celebrated a major milestone, opening the doors to its very first boutique in Bodrum. The quaint space, nestled in the lush green gardens of the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum, marks the maison’s fourth location in Turkey.
To usher in its newest home with aplomb, the French jewelry house invited a selection of guests in the city, from Friends of the Maison like Tara Emad, Dhafer L’Abidine, Husein Alireza, Anas Bukhash and Boran Kuzum, along with much-loved stars from the region Youssra and Saba Mubarak. The multi-day celebrations kicked off with a welcome dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum’s Blue Beach Restaurant, where Cartier’s guests enjoyed a candlelit dinner by the waterfront.
On Day 2 of Cartier’s special getaway, the stars came together once more for a first look at the new boutique. While a live band set the cheery tone for the afternoon, a special ice-cream trolley treated guests to refreshing cups of sorbet, and entrées did the rounds for all. After a ribbon cutting ceremony, Sophie Doireau, CEO of Cartier Middle East, India, Africa & Türkiye, and Nicolas Martin, Managing Director of Türkiye, opened the doors to the Bodrum boutique to reveal an elegant, yet striking space that falls perfectly in line with both, Cartier’s trademark aesthetic, and Bodrum’s vibrant personality. Earthy hues and unique textures share space with raffia patterned wallpapers that pay tribute to local artisans, while rounded edges and the boutique’s outdoor space add interesting elements to the store. In the midst of it all, a colorful rendition of the maison’s iconic panther commands everyone’s attention.
Offering guests a wide array of favorites from the maison, the Bodrum boutique houses the timeless Love, Juste un Clou and Clash de Cartier collections,…
