Showcasing relaxed maternity style, HRH Princess Rajwa Al Hussein has been spotted in public for the first time since announcing her pregnancy.
On Wednesday, the world caught a glimpse of a pregnant Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, dressed in laid-back maternity clothes. The royal’s day out in Amman marked the first time she has been spotted publicly since the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan announced that she is expecting a child with HH Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.
In the pictures posted by royal watchers on Instagram, Princess Rajwa was seen with her baby bump, and dressed up in a soft blue denim maternity jumpsuit. Picked from the Tencel Denim Maternity range by British brand Seraphine, the comfortable number features long sleeves, black buttons down the front, and a tie detail at the waist. The mother-to-be sported the jumpsuit with rolled-up cuffs, white sneakers, and a mini Bottega Veneta tote bag.
Princess Rajwa recently celebrated her milestone 30th birthday and received an outpouring of well wishes and congratulatory messages from around the world. The Royal Hashemite Court marked the special day by releasing two official portraits of the expecting mother, with one of them featuring her wearing a tiara. As for her husband, the crown prince took to Instagram to share a never-before-seen candid picture of the princess, which saw her in a bold red look and statement Schiaparelli earrings. “May God continue to bless and nurture the bond between us. Happy Birthday Rajwa,” he captioned the photo.
The couple tied the knot in June 2023, in what was the biggest royal wedding of the year, attended by officials and other royal families from around the world. The prince and princess are next line for the Jordanian throne, after Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.
