Fashion Highlights from And Just Like That… Season Three


The vibrant streets of New York City have once again become the backdrop for the much-anticipated And Just Like That… Season 3, the popular Sex and the City spin-off.

In this much-awaited sequel, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon bring back their iconic roles as Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York. Many cast members, including Nicole Ari Parker as Lisa Todd Wexley and Sarita Choudhury as Seema Patel, have already been spotted filming in Manhattan.

Similar to Sex and the City‘s television series and movies, fashion is still a major element in And Just Like That…. Carrie Bradshaw’s staggering wardrobe will continue to be reused in the upcoming season, according to costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago. This decision reflects both the character’s spirit of exploration and the fashion industry’s shift towards sustainability. “Carrie is one of those people who does like to go on an adventure or mine for something she hasn’t worn in a while and re-wear,” Rogers says. “If you’re at all versed at what’s going on in the world, you want to give back in some way. Even the characters on the show are in this state of mind. We try to reuse the pieces from Sarah Jessica’s archive in important moments where they meant something, because we wanted to honor them.” As an example, in season two, Carrie returned wearing her famous Vivienne Westwood wedding gown.

Highlights from Season 3 include a particular scene with Sarah Jessica Parker and Sarita Choudhury at Washington Square Park. Seema, Choudhury’s character, wore an effortlessly stylish outfit consisting of wide-leg mink pants and a neutral halterneck shirt. Meanwhile, Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw caught attention with her colorful ensemble, which was finished off with a statement Maryam Keyhani hat and Dr. Scholl’s sliders.
