Dua Lipa is planting herself firmly in the bold fashion camp with her latest outfit.
The singer stepped out in New York City in a look full of audacious style choices. In a moment of extreme power-clashing, she wore a floor-length snake print coat from Jil Sander over a black, white, and gray striped sweater—two prints that would usually necessitate a more neutral supporting cast.
But Dua opted to stir the pot further with the bottom half of her ’fit, tucking her light-wash blue jeans into a pair of knee-high black pointy-toe boots. With her baggy pants overflowing from the top of her shoes, it’s clear that the Radical Optimism singer hasn’t reached the final frontier of contentious fashion—skinny jeans—but it certainly is a departure from the ultra-wide-legged look du jour. She did keep it classic with her bag choice: a black quilted leather Chanel hobo from the resort 2025 collection, complete with four pockets and a chain strap.
Dua Lipa is no stranger to bold fashion statements, from her rave phase to her risqué dressing, but we’d venture to say that her power-clashing and tucked-in jeans may be her most outré look to date. We’ll be watching to see if it catches on.
