Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection 2024 Takes Inspiration From Fairytales


Since 1998, Chopard has been the star attraction as the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, and the jewelry houses spares no effort in capturing attention at the event with the release of its annual Red Carpet collection. Each year, Caroline Scheufele, the creative genius behind Chopard’s captivating designs, crafts the pieces that adorn the leading ladies of Hollywood and beyond as they walk the red carpet at La Croisette.

In fact, this yearly celebration is one no jewelry connoisseur would like to miss, as it sees Chopard present a collection that takes cues from the fairytales that have raised us all. This May, the jewelry house will take guests on a magical journey into the world of princesses and happily ever afters, or as the French would call it, ‘Contes de Fées’, with 77 creations, to mark 77 years of the film festival.

Chopard has previously shown its love for nature by creating stunning jewelry pieces inspired by animals and plants. In 2010, Chopard amazed everyone with its Animal World collection. Fast forward to today, The Red Carpet collection for 2024 is no exception, showcasing the world-renowned brand’s incredible talent. One standout piece is the Oak necklace, featuring intricately crafted flora and fauna. The neckpiece is made of rose gold and titanium, and features leaves set with green gems, flowers with yellow sapphires, and acorns made of tinted titanium.

Another eye-catching piece that will be featured is the Flower Sautoir necklace, which comes with a pendant comprising of rubies, green gems, and diamonds, surrounded by handcrafted titanium flowers. Each flower is carefully set with tiny pearls to give them a lifelike appearance.
