Barbiecore may be on its way out, but the trend has revived the color pink in a way that has never been done before. The latest public personality to embrace the hue is none other than Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein, who was recently spotted in a pale pink pantsuit.
This month, the princess joined her husband His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah of Jordan on their first official overseas visit to Singapore. The two-day trip saw them step out a number of times for various engagements, including a meeting with Singapore’s prime minister Lee Hsien Loong, and his wife Ho Ching. While the princess opted for breezy dresses for a majority of their appointments, their visit to the opening of a Jordanian exhibition at Gardens by the Bay saw her opt for a sharp yet feminine pantsuit by Gabriela Hearst. The pale pink outfit featured a double-breasted wool, silk, and linen-blend blazer with straight-leg pants, which the royal paired with a Fendi Peekaboo bag in the same color, and white pointed-toe heels.
Seeing as the princess is only at the beginning of her journey as a Jordanian royal marked with official engagements, it’s safe to say that the world will witness more of her refined taste in fashion, much like that of her mother-in-law, Her Majesty Queen Rania.
