The maximalist showcase
Chanel captivates and surprises every season with catwalk sets, each more astonishing than the last. For this show, the house called on set designer Willo Perron, who created a bow in a dramatised volume as a nod to the silk bow that dressed the invitation. This monumental black bow, dancing in the air, hosted 70 looks, playing with traditional references and volumes.

The pearl (mini or oversized)
Chanel has signed a series of candy shoes that will undoubtedly be next winter’s it-shoes. These boots’ heel is adorned with a maximalist pearl tattooed with a contrasting double “C”. Worn alongside an accumulation of sautoirs, one of Chanel’s signatures, the pearl is reimagined in a mini, bag-style form, where only the essentials can be tucked inside. The more traditional pearls, meanwhile, adorn models’ ears.
