Since hitting the stage with her very first stop on the Renaissance tour in Stockholm back in May, Beyoncé has consistently brought fierce, disco-ready ensembles for the crowd. Practically every luxury fashion house has created a custom look for her performances—including Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander McQueen, Valentino, and of course, that unforgettable Loewe catsuit. Punctuating all of these theatrical looks? Usually a bold stiletto sandal or boot of some sort. But for last night’s show in Santa Clara, California, Beyoncé brought a different kind of shoe to the stage—and it’s her boldest (and highest) style yet.
Opting for an entirely custom Marc Jacobs look, Beyoncé slipped into the designer’s sky-high Kiki boots, which were entirely covered in dazzling black Swarovski crystals. Take a closer look at them below.
The staggering shoes are already a hit amongst celebrities such as Olivia Rodrigo and Doja Cat, but Beyoncé gets bonus points for wearing them on stage: It’s impressive she could sing and do choreography in them, given their staggering platform. As for the rest of her ensemble, the superstar wore a new version of look one from the label’s fall 2023 collection—a strapless black sequined mini dress, punctuated by a red foulard. The headscarf was very much Old Hollywood, but the shoes were giving modern-day superstar.
