Beyoncé Wore a Custom Nicolas Jebran Bodysuit on Her World Tour

Few concert tours in history have had a sartorial impact as big as Beyoncé’s Renaissance. It’s worth noting that among the many designers contributing to this are a few close to home, as the Grammy-winner continues to show her love for Arab talent. For the St. Louis, Missouri stop of her tour this week, Beyoncé took the stage in a striking yellow ensemble by Lebanese couturier Nicolas Jebran. The color and silhouette of the custom bodysuit is a nod to the artist’s renowned fanbase “Beyhive”, and came in a studded-textured fabric with sculptural 3D stripes. A matching pair of heeled boots and a bee-inspired headpiece with yellow-tinted eyeglasses completed the look befitting her title as “Queen Bey.”

Nicolas Jebran was also the designer of choice for Beyoncé’s iconic performance at the opening of Atlantis The Royal in Dubai earlier this year, where she stunned the crowd in a bejeweled corset gown. Through this showstopping number, the couturier now joins the Arab designers who have been entrusted with creating memorable looks for the Renaissance World Tour. This includes Georges Hobeika, who has made not one, but two custom outfits for the star recently, as well as Jordanian-Romanian accessories designer Amina Muaddi, whose footwear has been a constant in Beyoncé’s tour wardrobe. “I’m so happy to be part of this queen’s historic tour,” Muaddi previously shared on Instagram. “Every time I see her on stage, I’m in complete awe of her — the ultimate supernova. Grateful to @beyonce and her team of incredible creatives for these @aminamuaddiofficial moments on stage.”

As the 41-year-old enters the last month of her highly-talked-about world tour, expect her to only go out with a bang via more remarkable fashion.
