Balqees Fathi is on a sartorial roll—more often than not—as she switches from extravagant princess dresses to sleek bodysuits and sequined numbers to minimalistic caped gowns. One of her recent looks sees her embracing the cut-out dress trend in the midst of promotions of her latest single, “Alf Rooh.”
In an Instagram post shared with her 15.5 million followers, Fathi opted for a light green, sleeveless ribbed maxi dress from Fendi, which came with thin white stripes all over, and an edgy cut-out below the chest. Stylist Cedric Haddad paired the summery number with nude pointed-toe heels from the same brand, while oversized hoops and a few rings completed the look.
The cut-out style, which was also favored by Angelina Jolie and Kylie Jenner recently, is an effortless way to elevate any look as the peek-a-boo detail adds just the right amount of boldness to an otherwise pared-back outfit.
