Cult-favorite film The Devil Wears Prada is officially returning with a sequel, and it’s sure to bring more noteworthy looks with it. Played by actors Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt, characters Miranda Priestly, Andrea Sachs, and Emily Charlton wore outfits that are still referenced by movie — and fashion — lovers to this day.

Fun fact: Contrary to the 2006 film’s name, Streep never actually wore any looks by Italian luxury brand Prada while playing the editor of the fictional fashion magazine Runway. Instead, costume designer Patricia Fields enlisted her longtime friend Donna Karan to dress the stern, sophisticated, and ridiculously stylish character. Given the film’s undying popularity, there’s plenty of room for the sequel’s Priestly — should she return — to explore fashion from around the world.

With hopes that the upcoming movie features some of the incredible talent flourishing in the Middle East, Vogue Arabia tapped five designers to dream up looks for the iconic character — check them out below.
