Amanda Seyfried wore an embellished gold Elie Saab gown in China
For an event in Shanghai, China, Amanda Seyfried chose to go the more-is-more route in a gold creation by Elie Saab. The Mean Girls actor’s pick was all about bold elements, and comprised of a sheer, kaftan-style gown that was then topped off with statement-making add-ons including teardrop-shaped pearls, crystals, and sequins. First seen at Elie Saab’s Fall 2023 couture showcase, the gown created the illusion of one dripping in diamonds. Adding a little more structure to the ankle-grazing dress were a skinny gold belt that cinched the gown in at the waist, and heavier embellishment around the neckline, that allowed Seyfried to skip on heavy jewelry for the occasion.
With her statement-making couture ensemble, Amanda Seyfried went with a pared down beauty look to create a balance. Leaving her blonde locks open in mermaid-esque waves, the star accentuated her delicate features with minimal makeup. Her picks included a scarlet lip stain, bold brows, and just a hint of mascara.
