Amal Clooney might be known to many as the wife of Academy Award-winning actor George Clooney, but before she entered the Hollywood spotlight, she was a star of her own as a lawyer and advocate.
She studied jurisprudence at Oxford and law at NYU and went on to become an internationally respected human rights lawyer and activist. When she began dating George in 2013, she quickly became one of the most-watched women in Hollywood.
As a lawyer, Amal was no stranger when it came to dressing for a public appearance, but she quickly proved her style transcended beyond the courtroom. She began accompanying George for red carpet appearances and has worn designers including Stella McCartney, Giambattista Valli and Versace.
While she started out in classic black dresses, she has since embraced more opulent designs and patterns to stand alongside her husband for their red carpet appearances.
