After spending a summer in Italy, Amal Clooney is glowing from the inside out. So it’s no surprise that the human rights barrister, who is one of five honorees at the 14th annual DVF Awards in Venice, showed up to the ceremony looking positively radiant.
For her special night, Clooney wore a blush lace slip with an uneven hem and a drop-wait tulle skirt overlay from John Galliano’s fall 2000 collection for Christian Dior. She accessorized the dress, which she sourced from Tab Vintage, with warm metallics, carrying a small bronze clutch the size of a sunglasses case and strappy gold heels. The lawyer also matched her jewelry to her vintage Dior look, donning a pair of pearl drop earrings that hovered just above her shoulder, complete with large pear shaped stones that matched her outfit. She was joined by her husband, George, who wore a black suit and navy blue button-down, which he left open, exposing a sliver of skin.

Clooney opted for a warm beauty look to complement her pink outfit, opting for a pink cheek and lip, and a sunny bronze glow. Just days ago, she unveiled what her hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos dubbed “English toffee” highlights, which add a splash of warmth to her dark brown hair.
The DVF Awards, which are occurring during the 80th Venice International Film Festival, was started by designer Diane von Furstenberg and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation in support of global women leaders, particularly those who seek to better the lives of other women. Clooney is being honored for her prestigious track record of fighting for those who have suffered human rights abuses, including victims of war crimes and gender-based violence, as well as her work with the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s Waging Justice for Women program. She is being recognized alongside Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina J. Mohammed, comedian and author Lilly Singh, coder and MIT researcher…
