All the Highlights from Dubai Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025


After much anticipation, the Spring/Summer 2025 edition of Dubai Fashion Week kicked off on September 1—check out all the highlights below.

Day 1

Dubai Fashion Week began on a high note with Rizman Ruzaini presenting its newest collection ‘Mustika’. The Malaysian brand made headlines last year when it invited supermodel Naomi Campbell to walk for the show. On Sunday evening, the brand presented pieces inspired by the film Perempuan Melayu Terakhir and creative director Ruzaini Jamil’s late grandmother. Think, traditional Malaysian clothing like the kebaya and the technique of batik reinterpreted with modern designs featuring intricate embroidery and tambour beading.

The show was followed by Libyan couture brand Amjad Khalil’s Beyond Black collection taking audiences on a journey from dark to light. rick Bendana’s 505 aimed to blend Nicaraguan cultural identity with urban chic details, while Filipino designer Angelo Estera made his DFW debut by merging influences from the Oriental Far East with the Arabian Sahara. Earlier in the day, the La Moda Italiana: Dubai Edition exhibition opened to the public, presenting 25 prestigious Italian fashion brands.

Day 2

Palestinian designer Ihab Jiryis showcased a collection celebrating growth, femininity, and empowerment, while Indian brand Itrh presented debut ‘Natak’, a collection inspired by Indian theatre. DFW Weinsanto also returned for this edition, showcasing “Lady de Weinsanto” via oversized silhouettes, vibrant colors, and bold accessories.

Day 3

 

Lebanese designer Dima Ayad presented florals for the first time for her Spring/Summer 2025 collection, in a celebration of all things feminine. The show also saw Tunisian model Rym Model’s return to the runway as she closed the show. Mrs. Keepa showcased her collection outside of the usual location via a film screened at the Mall of the Emirates. Later that night, Michael Cinco ended Day 3 with a majestic collection…
