As Dubai Fashion Week continues to thrive in the creative heart of the city, it has become abundantly clear that this is an event not just presenting but creating the culture of fashion. “Our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering authentic connections has not only solidified Dubai‘s global reputation but has also ensured that the right voices are drawn to our vibrant city,” said Jacob Abrian, founder and chief executive officer of the Arab Fashion Council. This dedication towards the future of fashion was proven yesterday as students from FAD Dubai presented a diverse range of collections. Other highlights from the day included a high school-inspired show from the Lebanese brand Emergency Room.

One student presented a whimsical take on dreams that fits right in with the sustainability focus this season, “everything I designed is detachable because the whole point of lucid dreaming is that you can take control.”
