The Oscars? Arguably the best date night in the world, some would say. Especially if your significant other is actually up for a golden statue. Over the years, we’ve seen some mega Hollywood duos on the red carpet and of course first time couple debuts.

This year, the 96th Academy Awards didn’t disappoint, with some Hollywood favorites trotting out at the Dolby Theatre on the red carpet — a red carpet that was festooned in bright pink bougainvillea. But who looked best? Many Hollywood fans would wager it was Mr and Mrs Emily Blunt (up for Best Supporting Actress for Oppenheimer) who twinned in white. But there were plenty of other beautifully dressed Oscars couples to choose from. While America Ferrera sparkled alongside Ryan Piers Williams in a shimmering pink gown, Margot Robbie painted a sultry picture in her black draped gown standing by Tom Ackerley’s sharp tux. Dressed in a sharp white blazer, Dwyane Wade looked perfectly coordinated with Gabrielle Union’s bejeweled gown, and Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemmons looked like the ideal Hollywood couple.

Below, check out our selection of the best Oscars couples of this year, and take cues for your next formal outing. These ensembles are especially noteworthy if you have a wedding coming up — what better way to make a statement than with a celebrity-approved his-and-hers look?
