Paris Couture Week this season commenced with a special showcase from six fashion designers representing Jordan Fashion Week, displaying their 2025 couture collections in the heart of France’s capital. On January 26 at the Shangri-La Palace, each presented their 2025 couture collections, merging contemporary fashion with their cultural roots.
Shirene Rifai founded Jordan Fashion Week in 2019 to help introduce designers in her homeland to a global audience, and says that this milestone is not only transformative for the labels, but also signifies a turning point for the nation’s flourishing fashion sector. “Jordanian couture reflects a rich blend of history, identity, and modern sophistication,” she says. “The level of detail, the artistry of handcraft, and the emotional connection embedded in each piece mirror the essence of who we are as a culture. It is bold, timeless, and unapologetically proud, which is exactly why it resonates so powerfully on the international stage.”

Laith Maalouf
