How about conquering the best version of your skin? Since the beginning of the pandemic and with that, the several days at home, people have exchanged makeup for skincare products and, consequently, intense skin care.
However, with the return of a busy routine, people began to look for more practical, quick and equally effective care and treatments for their skin. Sounds like a miracle? Not with Microneedling!
Known as derma-stamping or dermarolling, microneedling is considered a minimally invasive treatment where a facial roller with tiny, very fine needles is used to create a controlled micro-lesion on the skin’s surface.
This treatment promises to improve the appearance of scars, pigmentation, fine lines, pore size, and wrinkles, as well as providing an instantaneous glow to the skin, allowing products to better penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, “speeding up” skin care.
This treatment is often especially effective for those with scarring and pigmentation on their face, but it is not suitable for those with active acne, rosacea, or any skin infection, as this can aggravate the condition.
And beware: microneedling can be done in clinics and beauty centers, but it can also be done at home for similar benefits. However, some professionals point out that hygiene problems with the roller can transfer bacteria and dirt to the skin. So if you choose to do it at home, keep the roller on a sterile surface and clean it with isopropyl alcohol before and after each use.
Who has already tested this procedure at home?
