Hero Cosmetics is finally here
Pimple-poppers, we have some excellent news for you: Hero Cosmetics’ lineup of famous hydrocolloid stickers has finally made their way to Canada. The line began after co-founder & CEO Ju Rhyu launched the original K-beauty inspired Mighty Patch in 2017 on Amazon. Designed to be worn during the day or overnight, the patches suck up all the gunk living in your zit, revealing a significantly calmer, flatter blemish. The product was an instant hit, and Hero Cosmetics has expanded to include over 30 products to target breakouts, rosacea, dark spots and even fine lines.
Currently, Canadians can purchase four products from the lineup, including the Mighty Patch Original patches, meant to be worn overnight; Mighty Patch Invisible+ patches, which work great under makeup; the ultra-flexible Mighty Patch Nose patches that target oiliness and minimize the look of pores; and Mighty Patch Surface patches, XL-sized zit stickers for the forehead, cheeks and chin.
Benefit just dropped a new mascara
From BADGal to Roller Lash to They’re Real!, Benefit has been a huge player in the mascara space for years. But the brand’s latest launch, the Fan Fest Fanning & Volumizing Mascara, might be the one that takes the cake. If the name didn’t give it away, the volume-boosting formula curls and separates lashes for a long and wispy appearance, while the custom brush deposits just the right amount of product to eliminate unsightly clumps. Plus, there’s plenty of lash-enhancing ingredients like cranberry extract and rice wax, to help keep lashes soft and supple. It’s water-resistant, humidity- and sweat-proof, too, making it an excellent choice if you’re seeking a new summer mascara.
