Beauty trends that marked Paris Fashion Week 2023

The first Haute Couture Week of the year took place recently in Paris and was marked by new (and controversial) beauty trends that we’ll start to see around – in street style and on the internet, very soon! In addition to the collections with extravagant looks on the catwalks, other points that drew attention were the makeup and even the eyebrows of the models.

From striking eyes to messy buns, check out some of the trends that marked this season’s beauty below and get ready to replicate your favorites at home!

Vinyl Lips

Forget matte and creamy lipsticks, now it’s time for intense lipstick with a vinyl finish. This type of lipstick has already appeared in other seasons, but now promises to dominate summer 2023. Designers like Chanel and Valentino chose this glossy and fashionista finish for their beauties during haute couture week. If you prefer something more discreet and colorless, go for clear gloss!

Discolored and thin Brows

And for yet another season, faded and bleached eyebrows dominate! That is when they don’t appear bleached AND thin, which in a way still brings highlight to the region, which in some runways even appeared with traces of color, as in Jean Paul Gaultier.

Striking Eyes

Eyes with colorful and intense shadows, eyeliner and false lashes also marked the runways. Gold, black or even purple promise to take over the vanities of makeup lovers. Dior, for example, decided to be inspired by the chic atmosphere inspired by the 1920s!

Super Long Eyeliner

In addition to the eyes marked by shadow, the outlined cat eyes were lengthened and thickened, surpassing the edge of the eyebrow. Would it be the return of the punk look? It seems so!

So, which haute couture beauty trend caught your attention the most and you are sure to adopt in your makeup?
