Manmade Wonders comprises three thematic rooms dedicated to the maison’s artistic inspirations. Wonders for Special Occasions features a selection of historic cosmetic bags and handbags alongside new clutches designed by Andrea Buccellati. The second room, Wonders of Beauty and Proportions, celebrates the connection between goldsmithing and architecture. And finally, Wonders from the Past pays homage to archaeology and classicism with the collection of silver Boscoreale cups, created by Mario and reinterpreted by Gianmaria, inspired by the Roman treasure of Boscoreale, discovered in 1895 at the Villa della Pisanella, near Pompeii.
The saga continues at Natural Wonders, a space where nature, Buccellati’s eternal muse, takes centre stage. Projections that bring Renaissance botanical illustrations and paintings to life, such as Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s Primavera, frame the finely crafted silver pieces of the Nature collection. Centrepieces, bowls, small containers, and decorative elements with organic shapes for table settings testify to the timeless elegance of the maison’s Art de la Table. The Wonders of the Earth and Wonders of the Sea subsections reveal the fascination of the world of wildlife, populated by silver creatures from the woods and the sea, as well as collaborations with Venini and Ginori 1735. An immersive corridor, The Buccellati Craftsmanship, leads visitors into the beating heart of Buccellati’s savoir-faire.
