Supermodel Heidi Klum knows a thing or two about Arab talents, which is why it comes as no surprise that her newly unveiled Madame Tussauds Wax Museum sculpture in Berlin is doing the same. Adorned in a sparkling Zuhair Murad dress, the sculpture perfectly mirrors the iconic Klum, who often opts for Arab designers.
“An iconic Heidi Klum in Zuhair Murad moment immortalized at the @tussaudsberlin museum. The new figure features a #ZuhairMuradRTW Resort 2023 multicolored dress as an ode to her DFR Fashion Media Awards appearance,” said the Lebanese designer on Instagram while sharing photos of the sculpture.
The multicolored cut-out mini dress was first spotted on Klum in September 2022 during the ninth edition of the awards. However, this was not the only occasion that the model championed Murad. Earlier this year, the 50-year-old made a head-turning statement at Cannes with a yellow jersey-draped gown featuring alluring cutouts, bold wing-like fabric, and Zuhair Murad’s signature embellishments.
While Klum does seem to hold a great deal of love for the Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad, the model has also found a fan in other designers from the region. For the Amfar Gala at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, she opted for a feathered mint green gown from Georges Hoebika, while in 2022 she was spotted at the Elton John Foundation’s 30th annual Academy Awards viewing party in Elie Saab haute couture.
