One of the hottest invites on the Milan Fashion Week calendar, the Prada Spring/Summer 2024 show takes place today. The womenswear collection designed by co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons follows the SS24 menswear presentation earlier this year. Titled Fluid Forms, the collection was revealed in a standalone show at the Fondazione Prada’s Deposito in Milan, where the runway was lined by slime dropping down from the ceiling. For today’s show, one can expect a similar level of stagecraft, as the teaser sees a swaying silver beaded curtain reading the brand name.
The front row is sure to seat some of the biggest names in the fashion and global entertainment industries too. Among Prada’s brand ambassadors are actors Scarlett Johansson and Letitia Wright, K-Pop stars Enhypen and Jaehyun, and poet and activist Amanda Gorman.
