Steve and Marjorie’s love story
Although they didn’t tie the knot until 2007, Steve and Marjorie first encountered each other at the Rose Bowl comedy club in 1990.
Steve happened to be performing and Marjorie was in the audience.
“I came with one of my girlfriends and I was late…and I thought he was gonna give me the business because he got real quiet,” she recalled on The Steve Harvey Show.
“He stopped the show and was just staring at me. I thought I was going to become part of the show.
“He finally realized, ‘Oh, I gotta say something.’ He was, like, ‘Oh, I’m sorry. I don’t know who this is but I’m going to marry her.’
