Halima Aden has been on a sartorial roll since announcing her return to the fashion industry via our May 2023 issue. For her latest outing, the Somali model embraced summer’s hottest trend, with a modest spin of course.
The former Vogue Arabia cover star stepped out in New York wearing a minimalistic pink gown from Solace London. The sleek number came with full sleeves, a high neckline, and a long cape-like detail on the side. Aden paired the dress with a white hijab tied into a knot at the back of her head, chunky silver earrings, and metallic pumps. A sharp cat eye, blushed cheeks, and a glossy lip rounded out her glam for the special occasion.
It’s safe to say that the Barbie movie and Barbiecore‘s impact on fashion will be felt for many more months to come as the color pink continues to make an appearance in celebrities’ public wardrobes.
