Andy Murray’s Wife Kim Sports Stripes at U.S. Open 2023 – WWD

Kim Sears Murray attended the second day of the U.S. Open 2023 on Tuesday in New York, stopping by to watch as her husband, British tennis pro Andy Murray, defeated French player Corentin Moutet.

Kim wore a black-and-white striped T-shirt with layered jewelry, large black cat-eye sunglasses and an ivory crossbody bag. One of Sears’ most notable accessories was her diamond engagement ring, which Murray proposed with in 2014. Worth about $250,000, the ring consists of a round-cut diamond surrounded by smaller stones.

Andy Murray, meanwhile, wore a white T-shirt, navy shorts and a cap by AMC, the athlete’s tennis clothing line with Castore. Launched in 2019, the mid-range collection includes polos, active zips, technical training shorts, joggers and more.

Kim, a writer and artist, first met Andy at the U.S. Open in 2005. After almost a decade together, the couple tied the knot in Dunblane, Scotland, Murray’s hometown, in 2015. They have four children, who were born between 2016 and 2021.

Andy Murray won the U.S. Open in 2012. The athlete’s sponsors cover a range of brands across entertainment, technology and fashion, including Castore, Jaguar, Amazon Prime Video and American Express.

The U.S. Open kicked off Monday night at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in the Queens borough of New York City. The first day of the tennis tournament drew a number of celebrities, including former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, Vera Wang, Katie Couric and Lindsey Vonn.
