The latest celebrity to take the joy-inducing hue out for a spin is Razane Jammal. The Lebanese actor recently embraced the ultra-feminine style while simultaneously serving up major wedding guest dressing inspiration.
The special occasion saw the Beirut-born star dolled up in head-to-toe pink, with the hero of her outfit being a breezy Zuhair Murad number. Picked from the Lebanese couturier’s Ready-to-Wear Resort 2023 collection by stylist Cedric Haddad, the gown came with a ruched, backless bodice with studded straps and a pleated skirt with a thigh-high slit.
The Paranormal actor accessorized the look with a metallic bag, pink platform pumps, and sparkling jewelry by Selim Mouzannar, while a pink bow adorned her voluminous half-do by hairstylist Georges Elmendelek. As is the norm for any summer wedding, Jammal’s makeup look by Christian Abouhaidar remained minimal with hints of pink on her eyes, cheeks, and lips.
The 36-year-old took to Instagram to share a series of pictures and a video of her posing in the look, with a clever caption that read: “This Barbie went to a wedding. Ps: I’m sorry to all the Barbies whose heads I cut off when I was a kid. You were right all along – It’s fantastic!!” Jammal’s latest ensemble also proves that the Barbiecore trend is not solely for social media, and can be worn realistically for the right occasion.
