big,” says Donatella Versace, the Italian fashion designer and chief creative officer of the luxury brand that her late brother, Gianni, started in 1978 and that bears their last name. “I don’t do simple.”
Versace, 67, is lounging in her makeshift atelier at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, California, which has been converted into a temporary replica of Versace’s Milan studio.
