Capitalising on the success of its inaugural evening one day prior, the second day of Dubai Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 25-26 was as grand and spectacular as it was poetic and intimate.
On February 3, 2024 the state-of-the-art Dubai Design District venue played host to the works of both emerging and internationally acclaimed designers—from divine silhouettes by Lebanese powerhouse Antoine Kareh to Art Nouveau-inspired novelties by Parisian pioneer Weinsanto. On an equal footing with its counterparts in Paris, London, and Milan; the Dubai edition of Fashion Week continues to set a standard of innovation and excellence year after year—proving that the city we call home has cemented its position as a global fashion hub.

While the first day celebrated Zeena Zaki’s highly anticipated creations and other collections by fellow home-based designers, the second day’s lineup had a rather international allure. Australian couturier Paolo Sebastian made his highly anticipated DFW debut with an exclusive couture showcase of ethereal designs; while a collaboration between NIF Global and the London School of Fashion spotlighted 40 ‘luxury-meets-sustainability’ pieces by emerging Indian designers.
Weinsanto’s ‘Cauchemar in the Kitchen’ was groundbreaking to say the least, a creative coalescence between Maxim’s restaurant motifs and impressive Art Nouveau embroidery. Opening the runway show was the ever loved Ameni Esseibi—the region’s most prominent plus-size model—who has formed a collaborative professional relationship with Weinsanto over the years. From intricate corsets and the brand’s signature jumpsuits, to stunning jewellery pieces, eclectic accessories, and unmissable motifs; Weinsanto brought the audience a sophisticated and alluring display of brilliance.
