Amelia Gray is one of the leading names of the baggy trend. The young woman, who characterises her style as “chaotic and eclectic”, is devoted to oversized pieces. This star cut of the 2000s, which had its moment of glory thanks to US rappers, is a must-have in your wardrobe in 2025.
Contrast-seamed jeans
Made for comfort and freedom of movement, these denim pants, also known as Engineered jeans, feature bias seams that run down the front of the leg. While the trend owes much to its inventor, Levi’s, who created it in 1999, other fashion houses and designers, such as Loewe and Chloé, have seized on the phenomenon and adapted it.
Colourful jeans
Red denim for Alexa Chung, brown for Hailey Bieber, gray for Bella Hadid… Coloured denim is the bold choice. While last summer they made a maximum impact, sublimating themselves in hues each more vibrant than the other, in 2025, they are more sober and play the elegance card. Make way for brown, sandblasted jeans with a distressed effect. The ideal cut? The puddle.
