This weekend, the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan released a new picture of HRH Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, which marked her first portrait as an expecting mother. Not only did the picture give an official first glimpse of Princess Rajwa’s baby bump, but it also showcased her maternity style, which is just as remarkable as her usual wardrobe.

Standing in an open green space, the mother-to-be looked radiant in a bright red Alice + Olivia dress as she beams at the camera while cradling her baby bump. The maxi dress featured pleated sleeves, a cinched waistline, and a tie detail at the neck, and was paired with gold and pearl earrings, and a diamond bracelet by Rainbow K Jewelry. Princess Rajwa’s glam complemented the romantic dress as she wore her hair in her signature waves with a few strands twisted at the back, while her makeup embraced soft peachy hues appropriate for the warmer months.

A fan of bold colors, Princess Rajwa was previously spotted in another statement red dress in a candid picture posted by HRH Prince Hussein bin Abdullah on her first birthday since being married in June 2023. Princess Rajwa is expected to be due this summer, welcoming her first baby with HRH Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, and the first grandchild of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania. The announcement was made in April, with the statement from the royal family reading, “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are expecting their first baby this summer.”
