Meghan Markle just made her first red carpet appearance of the year at the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love.
This week, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a joint surprise appearance at the premiere of the upcoming biopic Bob Marley: One Love in Jamaica. The attendance marked the first time the couple walked a red carpet together since they were last seen at the 2023 Women of Vision Awards in New York City, and the first formal outing for Markle in 2024. For the occasion, the mother-of-two championed her longtime signature of classic, understated glamour.

While 2023 was all about warm neutrals and hues of brown for Markle, as her public outfits seemed to master the year’s “latte dressing” trend, the Duchess signaled a return to the timeless black with her latest look. Photos from the event saw Markle dressed in a form-fitting bodysuit with delicate thin straps, paired with a floor-grazing silk taffeta skirt by Carolina Herrera—one of her go-to labels. The Duchess’ look was completed by a pair of black pumps, a matching Jimmy Choo leather clutch bag, and statement gold medallion earrings by Jennifer Meyer. As for her glam, Markle sported a French manicure, and kept with the low-key aesthetic of her look with bronzed skin, a nude lip, and defined lashes, while her hair was pulled back in a sleek bun, which is a hairstyle she has been spotted favoring over her last few appearances.
Markle’s latest look is very much within her sartorial territory of minimalist luxury.
